                                                          DNA Testing for Immigration

Immigration and DNA Testing

During the immigration process, evidence may be needed to prove biologically the relationship between a beneficiary and a petitioner. The situation may arise when evidence (i.e., birth certificate) and secondary evidence (e.g., status, records) of the relationship is deemed insufficient or inconclusive by the USCIS or U.S. embassy.

DNA testing is an accurate and conclusive method of verifying biological relationship(s). For this reason, the USCIS and U.S. embassies often request that immigration petitioners and beneficiaries undergo DNA testing to provide evidence of their claimed relationship(s) with immigration. DNA tests used for immigration purposes include paternity tests, maternity tests, siblingship tests, and grandparentage tests. Our lab has experience performing all of these family relationship(s). DNA testing uses an extensive testing panel to bring the most conclusive results possible.

DNA of Georgia understands that immigration is a long process involving many steps. We strive to make the DNA testing portion of the process as simple for our clientele as possible. Our dedicated Immigration Team has a working relationship with embassies all over the world and is familiar with the procedures set forth by the USCIS and U.S. embassies.
